Zenit Solar collectors

Zenit Solar collectors

Zenit is a well-designed 'evacuated tube' solar collector that can handle temperature differences and provides an even energy production. The vacuum in the tubes provides an insulating effect to prevent heat loss through radiation. Zenit’s efficiency is so high that the solar collector generates heat even in cold winter days.

Thermal solar collectors are based on the principle of using energy from the sun to heat a liquid. It is a simple, reliable and highly efficient technology that functions just as well for residential properties as it does for larger
buildings – both for space heating and hot water. The high heat yield from the tubes can be attributed to the vacuum in the tubes, which insulates to prevent heat loss through radiation The tubes are laid close together, making the solar collector efficient irrespective of the angle of the rays of the sun, which means that the collector starts working quickly in the morning and provides even energy production throughout the day.

Zenit vacuum solar collectors require virtually no maintenance. It is sufficient to occasionally check the glycol level and ensure that the collectors have not suffered any physical damage. It is easy to replace tubes without shutting down the system, should this ever be necessary.

Zenit is available as a single- or double-pipe model in stainless steel or aluminium. The double-pipe model provides a neater overall impression and easier installation as it is possible to run the pipes through the roof in one and the same place.
